Bulgaria ITC
Introduction
ITC Bulgaria is an ICS accredited Institute Teaching Centre
(ITC) for the provision of ICS tutorship and selected professional
development courses within Bulgaria and other Black Sea Region
Countries.
The ITC Bulgaria was established in 2001 as an integral part of
"Nikola Vaptsarov" Naval Academy, which has a university
status and is the basic higher education institution in Bulgaria
for training of shipping business personnel.
The lecturers have been approved by both the Academic Board and
the ICS. Some are full-time Academy lecturers and the rest are
Institute graduates presently working as chartered shipbrokers.
ITC Bulgaria also supports the ICS examinations, as a distance
examination center.
Composition
The main form of training and also the most popular one is
full-time attendance course of study. As a maritime university we
conduct syllabus-based training which includes courses most needed
in the region, such as 'Dry Cargo Chartering', 'Ship Operation and
Management', 'Port Agency' and 'Shipping Law'.
