Thursday,17th March 2016 at 18:00hrs
The London and South East Branch are delighted to advise you that the second event of the year will be a Spring Seminar to be held on Thursday 17th March on "Iran's resurgence and its impact on shipping markets".
The topic is relevant, following the lifting of sanctions in Iran; it is an exciting time for the region.
Our top class speakers will discuss the current situation and opportunities for the future of both wet and dry markets.
We are also extremely pleased that Clarksons Platou have agreed to support and host the seminar. Their new premises in St. Katherine's dock are superb.
Speakers: Dr. Amir Alizadeh Msc. (City), Phd (City), Professor of Shipping, Economics and Finance, Cass Business School Denny Sabah, Dry Cargo Analyst, Clarksons Platou Simon Chattrabhuti, Head Tanker Analyst, Clarksons Platou
Moderator: Malcom Willingale, Business L&D Manager, Clarksons Platou
Clarksons Platou will also sponsor a reception following the seminar; this is a great networking opportunity particularly for students who are looking for a career in Shipbroking.
Following the success of our "Changing Tides" seminar last September we expect demand for places to be high, tickets are sold on a first come first served basis so please order early.
The speakers are top drawer, come along and please support your branch.
Further details as per attached flyer.
