Overview

The Annual dinner of the Irish Branch has been arranged for Friday, 30^th September at Dublin Castle by kind invitation of the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Mr. Leo Varadkar T.D. who will be our principal guest.

This year's Guest Speaker is Mr. Ivan Yates. Ivan is probably best known as a popular broadcaster and co-presenter of the daily Breakfast Show on Newstalk. He is also a former Government Minister and an articulate and entertaining entrepreneur whose background and experience provides the basis for a unique insight into both public/private sectors and politics.

Applications for places at the Annual Dinner (at a cost of €80 each or €750 per table of ten) should be submitted on this form, together with payment, as soon as possible but no later that Friday, 16th September, 2011. Please note that the ticket price does not include wine.  Wine lists are available from Deirdre Fitzgerald at Knights Catering - Deirdre@knightscatering.ie or ph. 01-2871554.

Companies/individuals are requested to set up an account with Knights Catering to cover all drinks on the evening as due to licensing laws the bar is cash free. This can be arranged directly through Deirdre Fitzgerald.

The Irish Branch has booked a limited number of rooms in the D4 Berkeley Hotel, Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.(www.d4berkeley.ie) for guests attending the dinner at a rate of €79 single and €89 double Bed/Breakfast. When making your reservations with the hotels please quote 'Chartered Shipbrokers'.
