Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers GENCON WEBINAR 14 Dec 2023

ICS webinar on GENCON 2022 on 14th December at 2:00pm GMT

The ICS Membership webinar will be useful to get all key updates and developments around GENCON 2022.

GENCON 2022 is the latest version of BIMCO's most widely used voyage charter party for dry and general cargo.

The revision of GENCON 1994 was needed as it was no longer reflective of commercial and legal requirements for both ships and cargoes.

In most cases, a vast number of rider clauses got added to a charter to fulfil the needs of the commercial parties. Now BIMCO has done the job for them. This should be of great help to those companies who may not necessarily have an internal legal department they can turn to for assistance.
