The Institute has been liaising with Bprder Force to offer a webinar on the NMSW.
The aim of the proposed webinar is promoting the new NMSW by Border Force:the new service will be more user friendly with more added functionality to assist Passenger and Crew Advance Passenger Information (API) data provision in respect of FAL reporting for General Maritime-Commercial traffic (including cruise traffic). The new NMSW will be looking to collaborate where possible with other Government agencies such as HMRC, to harmonise, digitise and standardise the ships reporting process.
The main goal for this webinar is to inform ICS members about the new proposed development of the NMSW, what the service is proposing to do, who it will be for and how we will endeavour to make this service user friendly for your members and others in the GM-commercial sector.
Overall we want to use the session to invite ICS members to actively engage with the development team in Border Force to share their experience and expertise in respect of how their operations work and how to capture user needs in building an efficient online government service.
