Course Leader: Mark Williams
Mark Williams has worked as an analyst and consultant in the shipping and energy industries since 1996. In that time he has advised major ship owners, investors, banks, insurers and regulators, national and international energy companies and traders. He has built several successful research and consultancy teams and has experience of establishing start-ups. Mark is a regular speaker at international shipping conferences and in the wider media. He has made many presentations on macro-economics and shipping to ship owners and operators, ship builders and insurers, shipping banks and investors around the world. Mark is a published author of articles on shipping and operational research. He is a member of the Energy Institute, the Baltic Exchange and the Connecticut Maritime Association. Specialties: Maritime and energy economics, dry cargo, tankers, oil, gas, containers, container shipping, forecasting, business strategy, private equity, ship finance, ship broking, valuations.
