Institute Open Days ahead : Portugal starting first!

The first Open Day event will be taking place on 7th September for all

Portuguese speaking students

Our Fellow Dr Ana Casaca FICS will be promoting the Open Day dedicated specifically to Portuguese speaking countries: Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique.

About the event

On the 7th of September, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers promotes a dedicated Open Day to Portuguese-speaking countries.

The event is free to attend and dedicated to shipping professionals whose first language is Portuguese and those aspiring to become one. (I took this out. I do not understand)

This initiative aims to disseminate the Institute's worldwide maritime education and training offer, recognised by many companies globally.

During the Open Day event, prospective students will learn about all formal qualifications available, all study programmes, enrolment procedures and how to apply for Exams.

Important to say that successful Students completing the full programme Professional Qualifying Exams - PQEs are then eligible to apply for the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Membership.

We hope to see you on the 7th of September at 1500 Lisbon/London time.

A 7 de Setembro, o Instituto of Chartered Shipbrokers promove um Dia-Aberto dedicado aos países de expressão portuguesa.

O evento é gratuito e dedicado aos profissionais da indústria marítima cuja primeira língua é o português.

Esta iniciativa visa divulgar a oferta mundial de educação e formação marítima do Instituto, reconhecida por muitas empresas a nível mundial.

Durante este Dia-Aberto, os futuros estudantes aprenderão sobre todas as qualificações formais disponíveis, todos os programas de estudo, procedimentos de inscrição e como candidatarem-se aos Exames.

É importante salientar que os Alunos que terminem o programa completo dos Exames de Qualificação Profissional (em inglês:Professional Qualifying Exams - PQEs) com sucessosão elegíveis para se candidatarem asócios do Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

Esperamos vê-los no dia 7 de Setembro, às 15h00, hora de Lisboa/Londres.

The Institute sets and examines the syllabus for membership, providing the shipping industry with highly qualified professionals.

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers is the professional body for all members of the commercial shipping industry worldwide, founded in 1911 and awarded a Royal Charter in 1920.
