In an exciting collaboration, HMC/ICS Greek Branch and ALBA proudly present a one-of-a-kind introductory summer course on shipping in Greece. This course promises an immersive experience, nestled in a country with an enduring maritime tradition and boasting the world's largest merchant fleet. Greece, home to over 700 predominantly Greek and international shipping companies, will serve as our classroom. Athens, at Alba, and Piraeus, at HMC/ICS, will host this enlightening journey, delving into the heart of the shipping industry.

Course Details:

• Dates: 7 to 10 July 2025
• Locations: Athens (Alba) and Piraeus (HMC/ICS)

Course Objectives:

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the Greek shipping miracle.
• Learn about the commercial concepts of international shipping, new technologies, and environmental challenges!
• Dive into the commercial facets of shipping, including Sale and Purchase (S&P) and Chartering.
