The 7th November 2024 will be International Membership Day.  A day to celebrate you, our members.

Your Institute Story

We would like to hear about your Institute story via Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram.  Tell us why you took your Institute examinations, how membership has helped you in your career and why you have maintained your membership.  Post this on your social media and to the ICS members Linkedin group (22) Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Members Only Group | Groups | LinkedIn. Use the hashtag #icsmembershipday

Use pictures in your post

We would love to see your pictures!  If you have any pictures from Institute events, something that you think represents your Institute journey or even a selfie in your institute tie/scarf, please add these to your post.

International Members meeting

On the 7th November we will be holding two online sessions for our members.  One at 10am and the other at 3pm (UK GMT).  The meeting will be hosted by the Membership Committee led by Gertrude Ohene-Asienim FICS, Chairperson of the Committee.  She will begin the meeting with a brief presentation explaining the Institute at large and the benefits available.  After this presentation the floor will be opened to you for a question and answer session with Gertrude and a panel consisting of senior officers, the membership committee and Samantha Porter the Institute's Membership Engagement Executive.  Your opinion matters, we want to hear what you think the Institute could do to benefit you, what you like about the Institute and what could be better.  We are your Institute and your thoughts and ideas are important to us.  If you would like to register for one of these meetings please find the booking links below.
