18 students will be sitting around 40 exams in April in Scotland.
The student numbers for the Scotland branch and in particular at the Aberdeen exam centre look encouraging year on year.
The branch organised a mini PREP last 23rd March in Aberdeen. The event was welcomed by the 8 local students who attended the study session.
The Institute endeavours to support students to do well in their exams and the preparatory event was possible thanks to some members who kindly had volunteered to come along and help at the PREP.
The most popular subjects were
- Shipping Business
- Legal principles of Shipping Business
- Port Agency
- Logistics and Multi-modal transport
- Offshore Support Industry
The event was organised at the Aberdeen Seafarers centre, thanks to the kind hospitality of the port Chaplain Howard Drysdale.
Prior to PREP the branch meeting had taken place and the members who had attended the meeting kindly stayed over to support the students at the PREP.
