This comprehensive course, designed for professionals in the shipping industry, delves into the legal complexities of international trade and maritime law.

Whether you have a legal background or are new to the field, the course includes sessions on Contract Law, Legal aspects of Charter Parties and Bills of Lading, Disputes Resolution, Marine Insurance and Salvage Law-key components of maritime law. Delivered by distinguished academics and industry experts, the course offers engaging lectures, fostering interactive discussions.

Course Details:

  • Format: Online via HMC Education platform with live sessions
  • Schedule: Twice per week, evening hours, over a 5-week period
  • Entry Requirements:
    • Undergraduate Degree
    • Professional Experience in a related area or seagoing experience (Certificate of Competency as a master mariner or chief engineer)
    • Non-graduates with approved professional qualifications or sufficient professional experience
    • ICS Members & students
  • Course Fees: €1,900 (with a 20% discount for ICS Members)

Application Deadline: 30 October 2024
Required documentation for enrollment includes the attached registration form, CV, proof of academic qualifications, ID/passport, profile photo, and a letter verifying your current position (if available).
