Hong Kong Branch Soccer Sixes

20171126 - HK Soccer Team

Hong Kong Branch football team took part into PB Soccer Sixes 2017, which was held on 26th November 2017 at Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre.

This year was the first time that the matches were held during the Hong Kong Maritime Week, so the football games attracted enthusiastic participation of Hong Kong shipping community.

Being one of the 19 participating teams, the Hong Kong Branch sponsored a Team formed by Mr. Davin Chan with branch members and friends: namely Jacky Li, Anthony Pang, Bankson Chung, Raymond Ng, Sunny Lui and Edwin Ng etc.

Thanks to the great team efforts, the BranchTeam proceeded to quarter-final of the Cup without any lose in the group games. At the quarter-final, our Team drew with MSTI Team and lost penalty kick of 2:3 at the end.

Through the games, the team members commingled with other shipping practitioners and friends in a relaxing environment, while the image of the Institute local branch was also promoted in this annual key sporty event of Hong Kong shipping community.
