Capt. John Lloyd FNI, CEO The Nautical Institute, visit to Pakistan in March 2018

It was an honor for the Nautical Institute and ICS Pakistan branch to receive the visit of Capt. John Lloyd FNI, CEO The Nautical Institute.

He met with members of the branch. During meeting various topics were discussed in a very interactive session.

A visit to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) had been arranged so that the Captain could meet with Rear Admiral Jamil Akhtar (Chairman KPT) and Rear Admiral Asif Hameed AFNI (General Manager (Operation). After that he also had the chance to visit the Mercantile Marine Dept. of Pakistan.

Capt. John Lloyd was also invited to visit of Maritime Training Institute (MTI) - a leading professional maritime training institute in Pakistan.

More than 100 participants attended the seminar on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) organised with the support of the Institute, attended by maritime experts, lecturers and professors, naval personnel, merchant naval officers, members of both institutes, as well as government officials and students.
