Pakistan Branch Open Day

On Tuesday 26th September 2017, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Pakistan Branch held an its Open Day in Karachi.

The invitation for the Institute Global Open day had been displayed on the branch notice board as well as circulated to all potentially interested organizations such as Karachi Port Trust, Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, Port Qasim Authority, Gwadar Port Authority, all shipping and forwarding agents and other parties indicated by our Institute members during pre-event meeting.

More than 50 participants attended the event: they were both maritime professionals as well as new graduates.

During the session our guests had the chance to ask various questions and they were informed and guided on how to proceed and register for Institute examinations and achieve Institute qualification and membership.

The open Day gave us a great opportunity to introduce the branch members to potential students. During the Open Day celebration, attendants freely discussed their study preferences in connection with their academic and professional qualification and future goals. Furthermore the importance of the Institute membership was highlighted during session.
